Welcome to Routa. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Routa application (“the Service”), operated under the trading name “Routa” (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using Routa, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
Routa is a cold-calling and lead-tracking tool that allows individuals and teams to record business/lead information, log calls, set reminders, track pipeline status, generate receipts, and collaborate with team members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Routa. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration & Authentication
- You may register and access Routa using any of our supported authentication methods: Google OAuth, email with password, or passwordless email magic links.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for and using the Service.
4. Team Features
- Routa allows you to invite others to join a shared team workspace.
- Business/lead data, call logs, reminders, and commits within a team are visible to and editable by all members of that team.
- You are responsible for who you invite to your team. We are not responsible for disputes between team members regarding data access or edits.
- Any team member may request permanent deletion of a business record; depending on team size, this may require approval from other members before it takes effect.
5. User Content and Data
- You retain ownership of the business/lead data, notes, call logs, and any images (logos, signatures) you upload to Routa.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including receipts generated through the Service. Routa does not verify the accuracy of any business, financial, or personal information you input.
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes on the rights of others, or violates any applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Routa for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to store or transmit data you do not have the right to collect (e.g., contact information obtained unlawfully)
7. Receipts and Financial Information
Routa's receipt generation feature is a formatting and record-keeping tool only. Routa does not process payments, verify amounts, or act as a financial or accounting service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of any receipt you generate and share with a third party.
8. Service Availability
- We aim to keep Routa available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
- Reminders delivered via push notification depend on your browser and device settings; we are not responsible for missed reminders due to browser permissions, device settings, or connectivity issues outside our control.
9. Data Deletion and Retention
- Deleted business records are retained for 35 days (or until approved for earlier permanent deletion by all team members) before permanent removal, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Routa and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or inaccuracies in generated receipts. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Routa and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Routa if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Routa after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
